AN INTERVIEW WITH
SVEN HANSEN-LØVE AND
FÉLIX DE GIVRY OF EDEN
By Joshua Handler
Mia Hansen-Løve's Eden is a hypnotic tale about the rise and fall of a French DJ that takes place in the 1990s and 2000s. An intimate epic based on the life of Hansen-Løve's brother, Sven (he co-wrote the film with Mia), the film has earned widespread acclaim over the past few months on the festival circuit. Eden finally hits theaters today, courtesy of Broad Green Pictures. I saw the film at the New York Film Festival last fall (and highly recommend it) and was fortunate enough to sit down with Sven Hansen-Løve and lead actor, Félix de Givry. Take a listen below.
